SAGES™ is a filtered well system that promotes clean water, storm water reduction and is beneficial for the environment. SAGES™ fits into ordinary catchbasin units found in urban areas and mimics the natural water flow patterns that would have been present before the urban areas were established. The water from the unit then flows into the vadose zone, and eventually refills the aquifers beneath the urban areas that have been depleted by years of use. Thus, the water that would regularly cause storm water problems is now beneficial to the public as drinking water.

The SAGES™ approach to water enables the urban community and the environment to find an equilibrium; benefiting the environment by removing harmful contaminants introduced by an urban environment and benefiting the community by recharging depleting water sources with new water.
